WellCare of South Carolina would like to make you aware of a very important update that has come to our attention from South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) regarding Medicaid eligibility. Effective June 1, 2018, SCDHHS's eligibility department disenrolled a large number of Medicaid members who had not fully and timely completed their Medicaid eligibility paperwork.
We are doing everything we can to help our members regain their Medicaid eligibility. We ask you to help us in this effort by informing any of your Medicaid patients who have lost eligibility to complete their Medicaid Annual Review Form to avoid disruption in their benefit coverage.
