Dear Valued Provider,
The 21st Century Cures Act requires providers delivering home health, Private Duty Nursing (PDN) and personal care services to validate services and submit claims through a compliant Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system.
As the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and health plans continue to monitor provider utilization of our EVV system against the expected compliance thresholds (listed below), lower than expected levels of compliance have been identified.

Sunshine Health and Staywell Health Plan are taking interim steps towards full compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act.
Starting December 4, 2020, to meet guidelines established by AHCA, all providers will be required to submit claims for personal care services and home health services through the plans' EVV vendor, HHAeXchange. The guidelines can be found at Agency Communications.
You are receiving this as a reminder of the compliance requirements. Additionally, for dates of service on December 4, 2020 and forward, claims will be denied for providers who submit less than 25% of claims through HHAeXchange's EVV system.
