Authorization Lookup

Please select your line of business and enter a CPT to lookup authorization for services. This tool is for general information only. It does not take into consideration a specific member or contract agreement.

WellCare providers are advised to use the Secure Provider Portal. This takes into consideration all factors, including the specific member, in order to determine whether prior authorization is required for certain services and procedures.

To get started, log in here and select “Create New Authorization” from the Care Management tab. Please find additional guides on submitting and checking authorization requirements in the resources section below.
