WellCare connects providers and members to resources associated with opioid use and addiction including Medication Assisted Treatment. Our aim is to assist our providers regarding the use and misuse of opioid medications and various types of pain management tactics.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) www.SAMHSA.gov provides several physician resources targeted at the treatment of OUD, including:

- Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
- MAT Training Material and Resources
