Important Plan Documents

You can find important plan documents on this web site including:

  • Member Handbook

  • Provider Directory and more

You can download copies of these documents online. You can also call Member Services to receive printed versions of these documents. There is no charge for either method.

The Member Handbook is only a summary of WellCare of North Carolina services. Please call Member Services if you have questions about anything in this handbook or on this website.

Choosing a Provider or Pharmacy

WellCare of North Carolina is a managed care plan. This means that you will need to use doctors and other providers that are part of the plan’s network.

We regularly add new providers to our network. You can download a copy of our latest Provider Directory from this web page. Or, you can use our online Find a Provider/Pharmacy tool, for the most up-to-date listings.

The identification (ID) card you received when you enrolled lists the Primary Care

Provider (PCP) we chose for you. If you are under age 21, we also listed the dentist we chose for you. To choose a different PCP or dentist please call Member Services.

We look forward to serving you!
