MeridianCare is transitioning to WellCare Health Plans!
We have some exciting news to share! Effective January 1, 2020, MeridianCare, a WellCare company, is changing its name and logo to WellCare. While MeridianCare will be changing its name and logo to WellCare, you will continue to receive the same coverage that you do today.
Our goal is to make your transition to WellCare as easy as possible.
At this time, there is no action required on your part. There will be no changes to your 2019 plan coverage. Your pharmacy and provider networks are not changing – you can keep the same Primary Care Provider (PCP) and continue to use the same pharmacy that you do today. You will be receiving information from WellCare in the coming months that will provide you with information about your 2020 plan coverage.
The MeridianCare website is transitioning to Wellcare.com. You can use this website to access 2020 plan information, documents and forms.
Please use MeridianCare’s website to access your 2019 plan documents, information and other member resources. You will begin using the WellCare website starting January 1, 2020.
The WellCare Member Portal
If you are a member in 2020, you will have access to the WellCare Member Portal beginning on January 1, 2020. You can register for member portal access prior to the portal’s launch.
The WellCare Member Portal allows members to:
- Check account balances
- Confirm payment postings
- Pay monthly premiums
- Check edibility status
- Change personal information
- Order member materials
- Perform other customized member functions
