Helpful Missouri Care Member Information

Is Your Child a Member of a Federally-Recognized American Indian or Native Alaskan Tribe?

If so, you will not have to pay a premium for his or her health care coverage.

To stop owing a premium, here is what to do. Send proof of your child's tribal membership to the Premium Collections Unit. Proof of membership can be a copy of a tribal membership card. It can also be a letter from a tribe that is recognized by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs. You can send it by mail, fax or email. Be sure to include your child’s name and MO HealthNet ID number.
