How to Keep Your Coverage
You got a letter asking you to confirm information about your Medicaid coverage. You may also need to report any changes or updates. You must respond by the date on the letter. You could lose your Medicaid coverage and your Harmony benefits if you don’t.
The State of Illinois Application for Benefits Eligibility (ABE) website gives you information about your:
- Benefits, including application status
- Redetermination status
- Recent notices
- Benefit amount
The website also lets you:
- Submit redeterminations
- Report changes
- Request new benefit programs

Redetermination Submission Information:
Step 1: Go to http://ABE.Illinois.gov
Step 2: Click the green “Manage My Case” button. Complete the login process or click “Create an ABE” account
Step 3: After logging in, select “Link your account”
- Enter your date of birth and Social Security Number or ID number. This will link your ABE account to your benefit case information
Step 4: When you link your case to your ABE account, you will be asked to confirm your identity. If successful, you will go right to MMC
