Seasonal Flu Shot Information

 

This year members 6 months and older should get a flu shot.  The 2011-2012 flu shot will protect you against the flu as well as the H1N1 virus that caused so much illness two seasons ago.  One way to stay safe is to stay informed.  The http://www.flu.gov/ (by clicking this link, you are leaving www.wellcare.com) web site will help keep you updated on this year’s flu season.

WellCare offers flu shots to its members at no cost.  As a WellCare member, you may visit your provider’s office, a participating pharmacy or participating clinic to receive a flu shot at no cost to you.  Some participating pharmacies include:

 

  • Walgreens
  • CVS Caremark
  • Rite Aid
  • Kroger
  • Medicine Shoppe
  • Longs Drugs
  • Target
