Seasonal Flu

This year, members 6 months and older should get a flu shot.  This shot protects against the flu.  It can also protect you from the H1N1 virus that caused so much illness two seasons ago. One way to stay safe is to stay informed.  Visit FLU.GOV to keep up-to-date.  HealthEase Kids offers flu shots to its members at no cost. You can get a flu shot for your child at their provider’s office, a participating pharmacy or clinic.  Some participating pharmacies are:

  • CVS Caremark
  • Walgreens
  • Rite Aid
  • Kroger
  • Longs Drugs
  • Medicine Shoppe
  • Target

Please call Customer Service if you need help finding a provider.  The number is on the back of your child’s ID card.  More information can be found at www.webmd.com (This is a public internet site that has information on health care, pharmacy information, and a symptom checklist).
