A Dedicated HUSKY Provider

When you enroll your child into the state-sponsored HUSKY program, you will need to choose a health plan for your HUSKY health coverage. PreferredOne has been a dedicated HUSKY provider since the program started.

PreferredOne’s HUSKY A health plan provides free healthcare for eligible children and parents. Benefits include great doctors & hospitals, 24-hour nurse helpline, prescription drugs, transportation to doctor appointments, preventive care, eye care and more.

Depending on income, HUSKY A is generally available to children and teens under 19, pregnant women, and parents or a relative caregiver (like a grandparent). See the eligibility charts to learn more.
