The provider training materials supply our providers with educational resources regarding initiatives that require specific actions by providers.

D-SNP Model of Care Training Materials

Health plans are required to provide their Special Need Plans (SNP) Provider Network with information on their basic model of care. WellCare has set-up a web-based model of care training that outlines basic requirements on WellCare’s website at: www.wellcare.com. You need to be a WellCare registered provider and log onto WellCare’s secure website and click on the “Training” tab to access the training. If you are not a registered provider and you would like to be, go to www.wellcare.com and click on “Provider Sign-up” link.

Otherwise, below you will find WellCare's self-study program that outlines the basic requirements as well as an FAQ that outlines other information you may find helpful. Once you have reviewed and understand the self-study program, please fill out the evaluation form and fax back to (877) 338-2979 so we can track that you received the information.

CareCore National Radiology Program

WellCare has partnered with CareCore National in a few states to provide quality support in managing prior authorization for certain outpatient radiology services at participating WellCare sites. The resources below may help you understand the prior authorization process for radiologic services. 

Be sure to click on the appropriate state resources for the most accurate information. If your state is not listed, you should continue to submit all prior authorization requests to WellCare.
